Crompton Immersion Water Heaters Crompton Immersion rod comes with a power rating of 1000 W & 1500W. The best feature of this immersion rod is copper heating element for fast heat transfer & Nickel coating to protect it from scaling . The handle of the immersion rod is made up of bakelite & comes with neon lamp indicator.
Important instructions: The bucket should be more than 300 mm deep and it should be possible to hang the immersion heater with the help of a hook. The heater should be dipped in water and the water level to be maintained within minimum & maximum range before switching it on. Once you switch on the heater neon lamp glow indicates that your heating is ON also you can see the air bubbles near to immersion rod once heating started. Take out the heater from water only after it is switched off and the plug is removed from the socket. Do not remove the immersion heater immediately after switching it off. Wait for at least for minute after switching off. Do not bring the immersion heater in contact with any combustible material immediately after its withdrawal from water.
